New Louenhide 2012

Gorgeous new winter Louenhide has arrived into store…the `Switch’ and `Baby Switch have been our best seller and have just arrived in some beautiful new colours like mocha and mulberrry. Also, for those of you who loved the `Poppit’ from a few years back they have reshaped slightly and added new colours and an ostrich like fabric, it’s called the `Gio’. All Sewn Up…

As some of you would know by now I’m in a Stitch n Bitch group with some girlfriends. We are always on the look out for some new crafty ideas and so I ordered some copies of this beautiful new book called All Sewn Up by Chloe Owens. It includes 35 really cute craft ideas, I particularly love the pom pom slippers and rain cloud brooch. The instructions are easy and the photographs great. There are some here in the store if you are looking for a project to get you over some of these rainy days!  $29.95.

A secret about Metalicus!!!

New range….`Lark’….

I have been admiring this cute range of homewares from Lark for ages and have managed to finally get it into store. There are the gorgeous jam making accessories, vintage inspired jars with labels, paper napkins etc and also the party range from Belle and Boo including paper plates, invitations, tablecloths, bunting and more….we love it!

The Sardine Tin……

It’s funny, since I opened the Park Bench, lots of people have started asking me where I like to eat out. I have lots of favourites but one place I go to a lot and love is my friend Simon’s tapas bar called the Sardine Tin on little Stanley Street, Southbank.

I love to graze, drink wine and people watch at this little place and I highly recommend  you get down there if you haven’t been. It’s the perfect pre movie dinner spot too. New Summer Menu on the Park Bench!

We have just started our new summer menu at the Park Bench Espresso Bar….still doing the delicious sandwiches and quiches but have addes some more breakkie items. Keep your eye out for our new thick cut heavy fruit toast with Hank’s Jams, toasted brioche with Nutella (yum!) and delicious sourdough toast with your selection of spreads.

We are also doing Whisk & Pin Muesli, either toasted Mountain or Gluten Free, all organic and so delicious, they also come in a little box to takeaway! We are selling Hank’s Jams retail to if you really love it…I know you will….
