We have stocked T2 teas in the store for a few years now, I first drank their teas close to 15 years ago when I was living and working in Melbourne. Next to the restaurant I was managing was the orignial T2 store in Brunswick St, Fitzroy. It was a beautiful shop with chinese newspapers wallpapered on the walls and shelves filled with all sorts of exotic teas that I’d never heard of. The shop is still there as far a I know but they have expanded into all sorts of shopping centres all over Australia.
Obviously, we will be serving T2 tea in the new espresso bar, I have just finished a `tea menu’ with descriptions of flavours so you can all try something new. The stores have come a long way, I recently found these photos of their latest store and they are so gorgeous and interesting, I thought I’d share…
